Usually speaking I wait till the last 10 minutes or so to get out and the power is almost always on and hermetic alarm has been pulled and if no one has killed the raiders I will (or die trying, a fair portion of my deaths come from those guys). My 2 exfil camper kills I just prefired since they were prone, easy headshot. Once I know they are there I can either throw grenades, or prefire them. In the other 37, I've exfiled at D2 the vast majority of the time and only ran into 2 exfil campers (prone in the hallway behind coat room that leads to exfil itself) and killed both of them, because I know to jiggle peak that corner rather than just come in like an idiot. I have about a 50 percent SR (overall, dunno what it is on reserve). Ive gone kitted into reserve probably 75 raids this wipe. The difference is that because it's so much more open up there, the person approaching needs to clear much wider angles rather than behind some doors - but even then, they can still use the same de-sync advantage mentioned above. Until the de-sync is properly addressed, a stationary player is at a disadvantage to one that is moving (doubly so if they aren't moving in a straight line/moving erratically/stop-starting).Īs another person mentioned, the camper has the advantage of sound, so they can kind of "prepare" themselves for someone on their way, but de-sync will allow an aggressive player an advantage to push out, shoot at the camper (or be prepared to as they clear the angle) and move on/move back in to cover before they even show up on the campers screen - doesn't always happen this way of course, but it's possible.Īs for the RR extract being just as campable goes - it's definitely as "good": the open roof leading up to dome is one spot, from there, you can jump across to the mountain and sit up there (although, it's kinda finnicky to do), there's another hill/cliff top accross from that, you can camp in bushes/around corners on the way up to it - there might not be as many spots to camp in as D2, but it's doable. A similar (but far more convincing) "Faux Hind" modification was done to another type of helicopter for the films Red Dawn, Rambo: First Blood Part II and Rambo III, utilizing an Aérospatiale Puma.Escape from Tarkov is a hardcore and realistic online first-person action RPG/Simulator with MMO features and a story-driven walkthrough currently in development by Battlestate Games. Finally, the helicopter has been painted with a new desert camouflage scheme, as opposed to the plain black with gray hull seen in its previous film appearances. The non-functional side-mounted faux Gryazev-Shipunov GSh-30-2K cannon on the earlier version has been removed and replaced with the new acetylene-powered M134 Minigun assembly in the nose (making it no longer a faux Hind-F), and the helicopter's outrigger floats (containing the main landing gear) have been cosmetically joined to the hull with additional plating. The longer wings have allowed for an extra rocket pod to be added on either side, increasing the total number from four to six (which is in fact two more than the real Hind could carry beneath its wings). The helicopter appears to be the same one previously seen in Braddock: Missing in Action III and Bulletproof, albeit fitted with more extensive and slightly more convincing modifications this time it has now been fitted with slightly larger, more sturdy-looking wings, incorporating large faux engine intakes at the wing roots and additional winglets at the tip. The "Mi-24 Hind" seen in the movie is a cosmetically modified Sikorsky S-62. Upon closer inspection only the lower barrel can actually be seen firing presumably this is because building a weapon that could fire from two barrels would be a far more difficult modification, and the discrepancy isn't that noticeable on-screen. The FN FAL used in the movie has been modified with twin barrels, a custom stock, the pistol grip from a Vektor SS-77 general purpose machine gun, an enlarged magazine/foregrip and a Lewis gun's drum magazine mounted on top. The weapon is also seen being tested by Colonel Zayas ( Carmen Argenziano) on the rifle range near the beginning of the film. The large assault rifle used prominently by Nikolai Rachenko ( Dolph Lundgren) during the final assault is an FN FAL mocked up to resemble an experimental Soviet assault rifle.
